X-Stop®/ MaxxSpine® - implant for the interspinous process distraction (IPD)
Lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS) occurs when the spine is narrowed. The main symptoms occur in the legs when standing and walking, and improve upon sitting or lying down. The interspinous process distraction can widen the spinal canal without the need for an operation on or in the spinal canal. The mobility of the spinal column is maintained.
